Beyond The Clinic

Unlike most physical therapy clinics, Pure Physio has 20 years of experience offering orthopedic, neurological, geriatric, and pediatric physical therapy focused on recovery of function.

Pure Physio offers transportation services for patients who qualify. There is no charge for this service.

Pure Physio will be using the Jane App for electronic medical records. This software is HIPPA compliant (protects the patients’ healthcare information) while allowing the patients to see the therapists schedule and book their own appointments.

Pure Physio will participate in the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) along with implementing outcome measures such as FOTO (focus on therapeutic outcomes) to ensure quality control for Medicare and the patient regarding physical therapy delivered and received. There is no effect on charges for this service

SERVICES

All services will be offered at the same address and administered by a licensed therapist only, there will be no implementation of aides or physical therapy technicians. There will be no doubling of patients. Initial evaluations are scheduled for one hour. The duration of follow up visits and the treatment frequency (1-2-3x per week) will be based on the patients’ needs and may require 30-75 minutes. In some cases, treatment frequency will be once a week or every other week to maximize both the time needed for patient recovery and their medical benefits.

Pure Physio will implement traditional hands-on manual therapy which may include joint or soft tissue manipulation, hands-on neuro-re-education treatment techniques (NDT, PNF, blood flow restriction cuffs), along with various therapeutic exercise devices (treadmill, bike, static stretching devices, weights, thera-bands) and various modalities (ultrasound, phonophoresis, neuromuscular electrical stimulation) to reach the desired patient goal.

Originally from Texas, Dr. Bill completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He is married with two children. Bill has more than 20 years experience and has been efficiently and effectively treating all patient populations (pediatrics to geriatrics) with various combinations of neurological and orthopedic pathologies, including:
